bb_r was invited to perform as part of the 'work sound balance' performance series at a garment factory location, Germany. the sound events that take place there are very particular within this location.

location recordings were made of a fully operational fashion production space, about 2 weeks before the performance.

documented with low-noise, high-gain recording techniques.

for this work, there was a unique improvisation using a combination of computer assistance, mixer, field recorder, location recordings, microphones, percussive elements, and loudspeakers. it was something 'other'. . .

a balance between improvised performance and an ephemeral and informal installation.
